Our voices, our future
The project is about the 2024 European elections. The project aims to raise public awareness about the elections and to involve young people in the decision-making process. This objective was achieved through a wide range of activities.

ABOUT PROJECT
The goal was achieved through a wide range of activities. A network of ambassadors went into schools, young people created their own events in the regions to compete for the chance to go on an all-expenses-paid trip to Brussels. There were also social networking competitions, interviews, MEPs' shows and newsletters to engage the public with the elections.
After the elections, the project coordinator, Jacob, cycled 1 metre for every vote cast in Latvia to motivate people to vote.
PROJECT GOAL
To create an inclusive and accessible range of events and information on the role of the European Union and its benefits in our daily lives, to promote a civic culture in Latvian society where European values are reinforced and to mobilise the public, especially young people, to participate in the EP elections in 2024 by providing them with information support on the importance and impact of these elections in all our daily lives.
